A Sector-based Work Academy Programme (SWAP) is a government-back scheme run through JobCentre Plus that allows you to recruit trained and qualified entry-level candidates at zero cost.

We run SWAPs with employers across the UK to train and recruit candidates for entry-level roles in sectors such as retail, hospitality, warehousing, health and social care and contact centres.

How a SWAP works

Using a Sector-based Work Academy Programme for your recruitment needs typically involves the following process:

Pre-employment training

This is short, targeted training that's tailored to your vacancies. 

A day in the life

This is where our candidates gain some insight about the role you're recruiting for. It can be presented on-site or via a video call.

Guaranteed interview

Once training is complete, you'll offer each candidate the opportunity to interview for the role.
