FAQs – Funding & eligibility
You can find answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about eligibility and funding for our fully funded training programmes below.
Our courses are fully funded by the UK government, so there’s no cost to you to complete our training courses, providing you meet our eligibility criteria.
Our eligibility criteria can differ from course to course, but typically you’ll need to be:
-
Aged 19+
-
Unemployed
-
UK / EU resident for 3+ years
You’ll also need a valid ID, such as a British birth certificate/passport/share code (excluding student VISA).
Most of our training courses are also delivered online, so you may also need a PC/Laptop with a stable internet connection to access the course of your choosing.
Our courses are designed to provide you with new skills, accredited qualifications and power up your potential to move into sustainable employment. Each course is delivered during weekdays between 9am – 5pm. So you can enrol if you’re currently employed or self-employed, but you do need to be available to complete the course of your choice during these times.
Yes, our funding comes from the UK Government to fund learning for residents in England only. This does not cover Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

To enrol on one of our fully funded courses, you’ll need to be aged 19 before 31st August. If you’ll be aged 19 after this date, then unfortunately you won’t be eligible until the following year.
Our courses are delivered live during weekdays between 9am – 5pm, so you’ll need to be available during these times to complete the course.
