How we helped a Derbyshire Hospice find suitable candidates

Daniel's story: Building confidence & workplace skills 

After completing our Contact Centre pre-employment training course, we helped Daniel to secure a new full-time role working for a local hospice.

In his role, Daniel is responsible for donor administration, taking calls from supporters, and engaging with the local community during fundraising events, skills he developed and strengthened throughout the programme.

Daniel reflected on the support he received during his training to regain his confidence:

 

“The advisors at Back to Work helped me to regain my confidence and helped me to apply for new roles. Taking part in the course helped improve my skills in interacting with people online and helping to organise the team towards a shared goal.”
