Before enrolling on the course, Kara was unemployed with GCSE-level qualifications.
Although they'd always wanted to work with children, they lacked the confidence and industry knowledge needed to pursue opportunities within schools.

While Kara has not yet secured paid employment, she's already taken proactive steps to gain practical experience by beginning a volunteering placement at a local primary school.
