Our Digital & IT Skills course (Level 2) is designed to help you develop and extend your overall knowledge of digital to help you secure an entry-level role in this industry.

One learner who recently completed the programme is Kyra from Milton Keynes, who took the time to leave us her feedback about her experience on the course.
Kyra's story
Kyra was looking to switch careers to something in digital, and came across our course online as an option to learn fundamental digital and IT skills from home, and gain industry accredited qualifications in the process.
Developing existing skills
Kyra continued her feedback by explaining in detail the types of skills she was able to develop on the course, as well as the new topics and units that she was also introduced to.
"I liked the social media marketing and digital graphics aspect of the course. I got to use my design skills and add to them with new skills I learned, such as using animations etc. I very much enjoyed it.
"I did also like learning little bits about the other subjects and they were the right size in terms of the time we spent on each one.
"It was a great way to see what part of digital interests you the most so you have the opportunity to further your knowledge if you wanted.
"It was a great way to develop new digital skills, and a big plus was getting to do it from the comfort of my own home."
Advice & recommendations for others
Kyra also offered some words of advice for her fellow learners, and those who may be thinking of enrolling on the course in terms of what to expect.
"Be easy on yourself. Even if you don't understand at the time, or there is one part you're just not getting, as long as you understand enough to get through the course, then don't worry.
"There'll be one part you find more interesting than the others, and that's OK because then you'll know where your strengths are."

She concluded her feedback by revealing the next steps in his learning journey, and her hopes to continue furthering her skills to land an entry-level role in this industry.
"I'd really like to further my knowledge in social media marketing and design graphics, and would like to further my skills more before going forward into a job so that I can offer the best I can to a role."
